Description:

This Cycles Gitane racer with gears dates back to the early 1980s. The bike is equipped with a quality Shimano / Sachs Huret gear group with 10 gears in total. Low in maintenance since necessary mechanical parts have been replaced and the bike has been carefully checked by our mechanics. 

About the brand:

Gitane bikes have been produced since the 1930s. It has become famous as a French racing brand in the 1960s up until the mid 80s. Gitane sponsored some great riders including Jacques Anquetil, Joop Zoetemelk and Bernard Hinault.
